Conspiracy?

After the sad demise of Gen Rawat I am hearing two questions. One is a typical Indian question: Conspiracy theory-“asli vajah koi gahri sazish hai?”. My answer: This is a trash question. There is no conspiracy. The truth will emerge soon after the inquiry.

The second question is: What will happen to the reforms being undertaken by the CDS?

Stability in leadership is a desirable thing. Change is also equally important. Change is vital for progress. Reforms at the highest level were being undertaken in the security plans of the nation in which Gen Rawat was a key figure. The reforms will continue. As per seniority Gen Naravane should be appointed as the CDS. He will be able to carry on the reforms as well as Gen Rawat would have done.
